MINI (R50/52/53) - light comfort

The light package for the MINI R50, R52 or R53 offers the following functions

More safety, comfort and fun

With the Light module for your MINI of the R50, R52 and R53 series give your beloved speedster that certain extra safety, comfort and of course fun. The Comfort indicator function allows just a quick tap of the turn signal to start a sequence of three flashes. Being seen makes you feel safer, so you can use the Lightcomfort module to configure the daytime running lights for your MINI and choose from fog lights, parking lights or both. As soon as the low beam is activated, the daytime running lights switch off automatically.

From a speed of 60 kilometers per hour In the event of sudden emergency braking, the hazard warning lights are automatically activated for seven seconds so that, for example, when a traffic jam ends, those driving behind are warned. The cornering light function of the MINI R50 / R52 / R53 light package automatically switches on both fog lights when the low beam is activated in a bend and thus illuminates the bend better. This function can only be used up to a speed of 40 kilometers per hour.

With the light module for your MINI, you can find your car even in the dark

The location lighting automatically activates one or a combination of indicators, high beam, side lights, low beam, fog lamp and brake light when you unlock your MINI. The lighting then remains switched on for 15 to 75 seconds or until the ignition key is inserted.

Conversely, this function of the light module for the MINI from 2004 to 2008 also works as a shutter light. The ComingHome function makes it easier for you to get out of the vehicle. If you last drove with lights on and first remove the ignition key and then switch off the lights, the lights will remain on for 15 to 75 seconds, as with location lighting. So you can find your way home safely even in the dark.

Through the main switch the complete MINI R50 / R52 / R53 light package can be switched off . Individual functions can also be easily switched on and off. Please note that the light module for the MINI does not have an ABE. Therefore, always exercise the necessary caution in road traffic and comply with the applicable road traffic regulations.
